I am a whiskey best-selling author and podcaster. I wrote a book called “Whiskey Lore’s Travel Guide to Experiencing Kentucky Bourbon” and host two podcasts, Whiskey Lore and Whiskey Lore: The Interviews. I started coming to the area in 2018 when I completed an 8 day, 19 distillery tour of the state.

I’ve been traveling to the area for 2 years
Q: What led you to your current career and why do you love it?
I started a travel podcast and completed a tour of Kentucky for it. I fell in love with whiskey history and distilleries.
Q: What would you like for people to know about your job/business?
I focus on all types of whisk(e)y from around the world and mainly I am a storyteller, but also provide travel tips.
Q: What or who has been your biggest inspiration?
My father and his love for history.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Lexington and what is your go-to item on the menu?
Goodfellas in the Distillery District and I’m always a sucker for a good Calzone.
Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Anywhere there is a whisky to learn about – Scotland, Japan, Ireland, India, USA.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Lexington?
The horse farms and history.
