Meet Scott Hatton!

I’m 29, and I’ve lived in Lexington my whole life.
I think that’s about it????????‍
Q: How long have you lived/worked in Lexington?

29 years

Q: What led you to your current career and why do you love it?

A hobby turned to passion turned to career. I just really love clothes and putting outfits together and getting to play with lots of different color. I love finding rare pieces that I know I will never see anyone else with. I love the hunt for sourcing new pieces.

Q: What would you like for people to know about your job/business?

The clothes aren’t dirty and you don’t look poor buying second-hand clothing

Q: What or who has been your biggest inspiration?

My close friends, who actually led me to the line of work I am in currently. My parents for showing me how to be the best human I can possibly be to others. People in my area or similar areas who have come from basically nothing. Having people tell them their idea was dumb or stupid and that it wouldn’t work, and then having it work out tremendously in your favor.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Lexington and what is your go-to item on the menu?

Goodfellas. Can’t go wrong with the ole pepperoni slice. That lunch special is hittin!

Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Any of the islands that The Beach Boys sing about. If they were cool enough to write a song about, I want to find out why.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Lexington?

I’ll answer that with my least favorite thing about Lexington. The portion of New Circle Rd with all the stoplights. Like, why?

Q: Where do you take friends and family from out of town when they visit?

Goodfellas for the pepperoni slice I spoke of above.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

I don’t know where I’ll be in 5-10 days let alone 5-10 years, I just hope that I’m genuinely happy.

Q: If you could have lunch with any living person, who would it be?

Brad Anthony

Q: Where can we find you on your day off?

What’s that?

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

When my time comes, to be able to look at my life and feel like I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do. Leaving with zero regret. Does that sound too morbid?

Q: What is something that most people don’t know about you?

Sappy corny movies have always been my favorite. Enjoy a good cliche love story.

Q: What is a topic you wish you knew more about?

Human Behavior, Neuroscience, how to perfectly cook a steak

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show & what are you currently binge-watching?

I don’t really ever watch tv or movies, so I’m definitely not binge-watching anything.

Q: What do you feel is an essential part of your daily or weekly routine that contributes to your overall well-being?

Leaving my phone in a separate room, and basically do nothing but exist for 30 min. I guess you could call that a reflection period I guess?

Q: If you were cast in a movie, who would your co-star be?

I don’t think extras have co-stars

Q: Who is your go-to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?

Really depends on what genre or vibe I’m looking for but something you can never go wrong with is Backstreet Boys, Jack Harlow(that boy got something), My Boo (Hitman’s Club Mix) – Ghost Town DJ’s

Q: If you could give advice to any group of people, what would it be?

Be unapologetically you

Q: Who would you nominate for us to interview next?

Doug Williams. He holds many hats, but the area, in particular, I’m going for is the skate community. He is “THE” OG in-line skater in our city and has been around to see the skate scene grow from the jump. He’s been my skate mentor since I was 4, and one of my oldest friends. He is the president of a group called Friends for Skateparks. It is a group of people that help raise money for skateparks renovations and new potential skatepark. And also the liaison between the skate community and our local government.
